I had a client recently ask me the following question and I though perhaps you'd be interested too!
Question:
What kind of window treatments would be non-fussy and go with a rustic decor?
Answer:
I feel window treatments are very personal and depend on what you like, your style and the style of your home. There is certainly a time a place for more decorative treatments, but I do have a personal favorite which is a low-key, simple, clean look. I am in love with simple sheer panels, with rings with clips. I recently had some gorgeous, textured sheers installed in a town-home with stunning floor to ceiling windows. The owner didn't want to block out the view or sunlight but felt the need for a bit more privacy. By using the rings with clips instead of a traverse rod, it gives the room a more laid back, casual, rustic feel. This is a good time to invest in some really great finials, this will give the treatments a special touch.
