Investment Property

I wanted to share with you a recent project of mine.  An investor that I often work with called me in to help him flip a home.  It started out as a sad, depressed little house and ended up a beautiful home, and I'm sure the new owner is thrilled to have this little gem!

Before

As you can see this house had a very dated kitchen, paint colors that did not work and floors that had seen better days. 

Step 1

We were thrilled to find gorgeous hardwood flooring under the carpeting.  The floors needed refinished and staining.  Walls, ceilings and trim needed repair and fresh paint.

Step 2

The kitchen was updated with ceramic tile floors, warm honey toned cabinetry with coordinating countertop, satin nickel hardware, decorative tile backsplash and new stainless steel appliances.

Final Step

With staging, the house was completely transformed! I incorporated colors to compliment the warm color scheme. 

Working on large luxurious projects is always fun, but I also really enjoy working on investment properties like this.  It's a fun challenge working with investor's budgets and timelines and it forces you to really get your creative juices flowing.  By working with color, lighting and updating finishes you can completely transform a space from a drab house to a cozy home that someone will cherish!
