I often have people ask me about my work and the design process. They've maybe never had an interior designer before and know they need the help and are ready to go for it. However, they've heard dreadful stories about having to remove their most treasured pieces, painting an entire room lime green, matching every item in a floral pattern and paying an arm and a leg on top of it. Well, I'm here to tell you that interior design has changed and is completely refreshed from previous years......
As I'm into my design career for over a decade now, I'm thrilled to see these amazing changes in interior design. Gone are the matchy matchy days! Interior designers are welcoming in great functionality, healthy and green materials and embracing your family heirlooms, and favorite things. We want to make a space look spectacular, but also function well for the way you and your family go about your daily routinesBecause of the amazing changes in the Interior Design industry I've decided to let you in on my day to day activities! For the entire month of July, I am going to be blogging daily during the week and sharing my work activities for the day. I'll post pictures of installations, meetings and maybe even a few videos. You'll get behind the scenes look at how an Interior Designer works!
